Above, Kris unwrapping a gift, and my mom. Proud grandma to be for the 3rd time!

Picture from the shower with all the "barn rats". These are some of our friends from the stables my sister and I worked at as teenagers. Starting from left, Joy, Erin, Kris , me, Keri, Terry. Terry was the owner of the stables that we all worked at and she taught us a lot of what we know about horses. Kris runs Terry's old stable at the Equestrian Park although that is not where it was originally, and Terry runs a similar barn in the more rural Green River, UT now. Funny to note that almost 15 years later all of us STILL have horses. Kris still has her original horse plus a medium sized herd of her own, my original horse is with Kris's friends, and Joy still has her original horse she bought as a teenager. Once you get into horses, there is no going back! Just kidding, although we are all so passionate about horses we pretty much can't imagine life without them. I have however whittled my herd down from 3 to just 1.

Here's a picture of the two of us at the shower. ( I think it was her 3rd shower, at least I got to be there for one of them). Kris is like my dad, she knows TONS of people. She is also just like my dad in that she denies that she knows anyone... Grandpa got to watch Aricin for the shower and Christian spent some time with Uncle Cy and Niels.

Doesn't she have the cutest belly ever? Of course the baby will be probably be born before I get back to Utah on the 19th (she is due the 14th), but I can't wait to see her baby boy! Hopefully it won't be too soon so I can see him when he's really little. They are just so cute when they are newborns.

I'm jealous your sister has me beat by 10 days... I'm dying here!! I love baby showers, it's always so much fun to get together.
Lis, You are amazing, you are moving, fighting fleas, and you still have time to write in your blog. Good work and such nice pictures :) Love ya,
Kris
