Trying to Catch Up! Fun stuff!

I can't believe how long it has been since I have updated the blog! WOW! Time has flown and I haven't had a spare minute! I am going to try and catch up now and am starting with the wonderful visit from my sister Kris and her family in August, the week before school started. We had a very fun and busy trip traveling to the beach at Hilton Head Island, SC and then we spent the day in Asheville, NC in the mountains!

They had a really neat butterfly exhibit at the WNC nature center. You could go in and spray sugar water on your hands and hold the butterflies. I hadn't ever done it before, it was awesome!

Kris and Ayden on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Yep, it was COLD up there! It rained most of the day and was very cool at the higher elevation.
Niels and Christian at the beach. They LOVED the boards that you ride the waves in on. It was also Jellyfish season. Every one of us but Aricin and my sister's little guy Ayden got stung by a Jellyfish. The one that got Christian wrapped around his wrist and left a good mark, it is still healing almost a month later! Cy got a real bad one on his ankle! The water was really, really warm, like warm bathwater!

Christian took a trip with Kris, Cy and Ayden to go visit Cy's sister about 3 hours east of us. Of course Christian's favorite thing to do was tote Ayden around!
