An Untraditional Thanksgiving - 2009

Thanksgiving was a non traditional one for us this year. It was a nice change for me however, no slaving in the kitchen all day!
We decided to go to Craker Barrel for Thanksgiving. This doesn't mean that Thanksgiving wasn't without cooking though! Niels made the boys a very special Thanksgiving breakfast. As you can see from the pictures, the boys were very excited about their Thanksgiving Breakfast! And why shouldn't they be? Anything with fresh strawberries and whipped cream certainly can't be bad!
As for the evening at Cracker Barrel, lets just say that I am REALLY glad we got there at 4:115pm! It was already crazy busy since they were the only place open for eating around here at all. It only took about 15 minutes to get seated, but by the time we left I am sure the wait was much longer than that! Niels and Calinda had the traditional Thanksgiving fare, I opted for a Thanksgiving Cheeseburger (funny huh?) and the boys had breakfast for dinner yet again!

The other pics of Aricin are from his preschool program. They did a cute Thanksgiving program followed by a full Thanksgiving Lunch. All I can say is WOW! That place really has it together. I am highly impressed with how much they do!

I have included a video clip of Aricin in his Thanksgiving Program. They sang about 10 songs similar to this. I am impressed that he knew the words and the actions!

They had also sent Aricin home one day in an indian costume with a feather in the headband and everything! He loves it!

A bit late, but Happy Thanksgiving for 2009! We certainly are grateful for all of our many blessings. Our fun kids being at the top of the list!

Looks relaxing! I might have to try it one of these years.

When did your boys get so big?
