Christmas Fun

We have been busy, busy with lots of fun this holiday season so far! This week Niels has been out of town all week in Washington State for work, and Aricin had his Christmas preschool program, complete with a huge lunch (which I made our family's clam chowder recipe for) and a special visit from Santa!

Aricin proceeded to tell me that Santa isn't real. I told him that if he didn't believe then he wouldn't be able to bring him any presents. Needless to say, he believes in Santa again!

Below are some pictures from the boys decorating the tree, and also a video clip from Aricin's Christmas Preschool program. In the picture with Santa you can see that Aricin has reindeer antlers on. In the picture that is kind of dark, he also had a "red" nose like Rudolph along with his antlers for part of the program.

I can hardly believe it is already so close to Christmas. And as of today, we may end up with snow! School was let out early today because we are supposed to get snow. So far though, all we've gotten was a bit of icy pellets and some rain. But between now and tomorrow night we could get a lot more! 4-8" is what is expected, with 12-15" in the mountains!

WOW! If we get 4-8 inches, school may be closed down for a week! When we got 1" of slush in years past it was 2 days off and a late start. So we'll see if they boys even have school next week. They are supposed to go Monday and Tuesday.

I hope they go, cause Santa has a few more things on his list!

Andrea you are too funny! You can tell Heber that Aricin and Christian were VERY quick to point out that it couldn't POSSIBLY be the REAL Santa because the reindeer weren't around!
