So many fun things!! - Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in the Winter!

We've done so many fun things but I haven't had time to post any of them. Well today I am sick (was wondering when December was going to catch up with me) so I decided to do some blog updating! Our winter fun started when Nannee (Niels' mom) came and we headed to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to see all the lights. Granted this is the same place I went with my mom and sister last July when it was 100 degrees!
Well we may not of had snow, but it was C-O-L-D!! brrr! The feeling of Christmas was sure in the air with all the lights and the very wintery temperature! Unfortunately the camera just doesn't take nice nighttime light pictures. Lucky for us we got to go into the Orchid conservatory to see the mini trains etc. It was pretty warm in there. We ended with a cup of hot chocolate listening to live Christmas music. Very fun. Next year though I am bringing cash for the carriage rides!
Pictures from Top: Niels and I in the decorated orchid conservatory, Boys watching the polar express train, the 12ft + tree made entirely from Orchids etc, Calinda and the boys warming up with some hot Chocolate, all of us in the orchid conservatory,  train in the orchid conservatory, the sign reads "Caution-Fingers are the #1 cause of train derailments on garden railroads. ", the boys and I sitting on the bench by the lights, the 30ft red tree made from lights. This is at the entrance to the garden
