A fun time!

So last week we finally met up with some new friends that I have talked to on the phone and through email several times (she is also an animal/horse girl) and we've had several missed meetings since May! It is quite hilarious actually. We would schedule something and someone would get sick, or schedule something and someone would go out of town. This happened at an almost comical rate! The morning we were meeting she emailed me to assure me she wasn't cancelling our playdate but to see if we could do inside since it was raining! So we finally were able to get together in person which was quite a feat we went to the mall instead of the barn! We had a great time although the food court pizza and chinese food left A LOT to be desired! (doesn't it always?) So the kids played in these ride on toys and I finally paid for 2 of them at .75 cents a PIECE! Now I know why my kids never ride those, they are too expensive! But this one time they had a great time and Christian even wanted to wait and share a ride with his new friend Shelby. Then we went to the soft playground area in the mall, but of course my camera died so I didn't get any pics there!
All in all though it was worth the wait to get together! We had a great time and look forward to doing it again! And maybe next time it won't rain so we can actually go to the barn! With our track record I am not counting on it! LOL

It's always great making new friends, I know how hard it can be when you move to a new place.

Ours at the mall are now a dollar!! And most of the time the change machine doesn't work. I don't carry around much cash... oh well.
