Christian's First day of 1st Grade!

Christian ready for school and Aricin ready to make the trip to the bus stop.
Dad and Christian at the bus stop!

Monday was Christian's first day of 1st grade! To be honest he wasn't too excited about going at first but I think he really likes his new teacher. Her name is Mrs. Pagliaro (pronounce polly-arrow) so besides getting past the name Christian says she is "much nicer" than his teacher last year! Here's hoping he enjoys it! We already have small homework assignments and the "real" homework starts next week. Hmm, great thing I'm leaving town huh? Off to Utah with Kris and then off to Colorado for the Parelli Savvy Conference (horses). Aricin will also start school while I am gone. He starts Tuesday next week and will be attending Tuesday/Thursday preschool.

Christian is riding the bus with up to 5th graders. That is different from last year. His old school only went up to the 2nd grade so he only rode with up to that grade level. He doesn't seem to mind although he had one kid that was quite rude to him at the bus stop. Other than that he did quite well and told me he enjoyed it. Today was much of the same, he was excited to go to school this morning which for him is a HUGE thing, especially since he has to get up at 6:15 am to catch his 7:06am bus!
