TV Totally Bites

I need to put in my rant about television. I don't watch much TV. In fact before we moved to NC I didn't watch hardly ANY TV. But once we got here and I didn't have a life I started watching shows with Niels and Calinda.

But.... all the good ones get CANCELLED! I absolutely can't STAND it!

First Eli Stone, now Life on Mars!

I love Life on Mars! It is such a cool show, and so was Eli Stone!

To make room for what? More reality garbage! I mean how many possible shows of people trying to sing so they can be famous or fat people losing weight can there possibly be?

Obviously a lot. Because any DECENT shows get dropped to air more of this garbage!

That is my rant. I know a lot of people watch and love reality TV but I am NOT one of them and neither is Niels. We are in the minority and we know it. I mean seriously are we so deprived of people that can write decent TV that all there is is reality TV?

It is almost like Roman times with the gladiators etc. Instead of going to the coliseum we sit on the living room couch, and so far people aren't dying on TV. Only time will tell if that will change too. All in the name of entertainment.

I think I am going to join another book club instead of getting even more frustrated when the rare shows I do like get cancelled.

Really? They canceled both of them already?? Didn't they just start within the last few months?
I'm with you on the reality shows. They totally have gone overboard! But I do have to admit that I like to watch "Dancing with the stars".
I'm a greys Anatomy and Private practice fan myself...

I completely agree! I don't want a lot of TV but there are a couple shows I watch online when I get a chance. I really liked Eli Stone, it was creative and fun. Life on Mars seemed interesting but I just didn't have the time to watch it. So when I heard that it was being canceled I must admit I was a relieved that I had not become invested. This was Eli's Stones 2nd season, I thought it was safe :(

I hate it when that happens too! As long as they don't cancel "Greys Anatomy" I'll be fine.
