How ungrateful I would be if first I didn't think of my own mother for my mother's day post. Mom, I love you and I am so grateful for all that you have done for me. I don't think all of what moms (or dads) give to their children and do for them really sinks in until you have kids of your own! I know it didn't for me! So mom, here's to you and you are awesome!
And my mom by marriage, Sharon you ROCK! You've helped me move 3 times, and are so energetic that I hope I can have half as much energy as you do by your age! You keep me going to get all the projects around the house done. All of us truly enjoy your visits!
Christian is such a cutie. He made this for me for Mother's Day all by himself, even his own idea. He used it as a placeholder for me at the table, so I got to have breakfast sitting by this cute little heart he made just for me. What a sweetie!
We had a great Mother's Day. We went to our new ward (church), which was so fun. We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed the Mother's Day program as well as homemade real strawberry shortcake in Relief Society and a fresh rose.
After that we went to Chili's and enjoyed a wonderful dinner with Calinda and the kids. Calinda had given me a gift card for Chili's for Mother's day as well as a weekend that she is going to babysit the kids so Niels and I can leave! Very Fun!
Well Mother's Day has passed, but Father's Day is just around the corner!
