Storybook Day

So Christian's school wanted him to dress up like a storybook character for their storybook parade. Ok, they sent home the flyer yesterday (Thursday) for a Friday parade. Or I just missed it in his notebook which is strongly possible. Well we don't have many of our books here at the apartment, most of them are in Illinois. And we have even less dress up stuff here.
Anyway this is what I came up with, green shirt, green camo pants and a dinosaur stenciled on his cheek to go with his favorite dinosaur book. It tells about all the different types of dinosaurs and when they lived. Yep I am really lacking on imagination, but hey it was 7:15 this morning when I finally thought of it. Niels was supposed to think of something last night, but somehow that didn't happen (Star Trek: First Contact did happen) :)
Me before the bus came "please go clean your teeth Christian"
Christian "Why do I need to clean my teeth? Dinosaurs are supposed to have stinky breath!"
Me "Please go comb your hair"
Christian "Dinosaurs don't HAVE hair mom!"
I just laughed! And then I helped him clean his teeth and comb his hair.
