1. My Dyson vacuum. I love how it can pick up pet hair so easily and the thing has some serious suction. No filters to replace either, just wash it every 6 months. This is a heavy duty serious cleaning vacuum. I never would have believed how well it vacuumed if I hadn't of vacuumed with my old vacuum one day before I bought this and then when I vacuumed ONE room the whole bin was full, for EACH room! YUCK to see how inferior my old vacuum was! I would never, ever go back to regular vacuum.
2. I am also (like Shelly) addicted to Pampered Chef now. (thanks Julie!). I LOVE their pans! I love that they are coated w/ nonstick on the outside of the pan as well as the inside. It is great! I never have to use more than a wet sponge to get cooked on food off. Not even the scrubby side of the sponge, just the soft side. What's not to love about NOT having to scrub your pans! Timesaver! Really I love all their stuff in general, but my favorites are the pans, knives and stoneware. The knives are so sharp and easy to keep sharp with the sharpening block, and the stoneware just cooks everything so nice and evenly.
3. My Roomba automatic Vacuum (also in our house known as "runner") What is NOT to love about a vacuum that vacuums by itself? Press a button and poof it's off by itself. Heck if I was even organized enough to set a schedule for it (read keep toys and stuff picked up enough for it to do it's job) then I would just schedule it to go a couple times a day without even having to press any buttons. All I have to do is empty the bin after it runs. It is great for maintenance, keeping the floors looking really good without you have to do all the extra work. I just let it run after breakfast, and lunch to keep the floors looking nice after the kids eat. Next on my list is Scooba, the mopping robot...Now don't even get me started on how much I dislike mopping. I mean this Scooba preps, mops AND dries the floor!
4. My Sit N' Stand stroller. Ok I should have bought this stroller once Aricin was born instead of when he turned 3. These are SO nice. They allow the "big" kid to either stand on the back (which Christian does) or sit facing you while the other kiddo sits in the front. This stroller is GREAT for almost everything, outings, shopping, walks, park. It lets Christian be a "Big" kid but also rest cause he still konks out on us sometimes. It is sturdy, and you can use the "big kid" seat to store stuff instead if you don't have your big kid with you. I am really looking forward to using this one at the airport for our trip to SLC. I am going to HAVE to since this will be our first flight EVER with a connection. And I'll be by myself. YIKES!
5. Cat box. Ok who would really be in love with their cat box? ME! I found this nifty cat box that uses clumping litter and it has a lid. Well instead of scooping a couple times a day, you roll this box all the way upside down and it deposits all the yucky stuff into a tray which you just slide out and dump into a trash bag. This thing is great! No worry about having to touch anything and unlike automatic boxes that use a rake, this doesn't have a motor that can break. Plus it costs about 1/3 what the motorized boxes do but is super easy to use and maintain.
6. My Dodge Grand Caravan with automatic sliding doors, and automatic back door. I just never realized how much I would really USE that stuff. Of course the DVD player is a really nice thing to have too, but those doors are just really handy. Have a huge armful of groceries? Great just press the button to shut the back door and you're off!
7. OH how I miss my French Door refrigerator! It is still in the house in Illinois. I really love that fridge! It is just plain smart. All your refrigerated stuff on top where you can reach it and it is wide enough to hold a full deli tray. The freezer is on the bottom which is even better. I don't really use it all that much anyway because I prefer the deep freezer for most of my stuff. But the french door fridge is really nice, no more bending over to reach stuff, it is all at eye level and all perfect temperature (unlike our traditional fridge here at the apartment that FREEZES everything that is in the back and pretty much all produce and vegetables, ick)
Well that is all the cool stuff I can think of for now.

There really is a robot mopper!! I need to look into that because I hate mopping as well. I have thought about getting a dyson vaccuum for a really long time and I think you have finally convinced me that it's worth the money. We have an o.k. vaccuum now but I would hate to see what the dyson picked up after our vacuum. It's fun to look at your blog because I feel connected to you again. I hope Kris gets a blog going after she has the baby.
A dyson... how I dream about a dyson... Will and I agree that once we buy a house it will be our first major purchase. You've got to love automatic doors on a mini-van by far my favorite feature of our Toyota Sienna. As for flying by yourself you can do it! I've done it with the girls about 10 times, always with a mad dash through the Detriot airport to make our connector. Just bring lots of tricks; i.e. new toys, snacks their never aloud to have... Oh, people might think your crazy but bring clorox wipes and wipe down anything your kids will touch. Better to look crazy then reach your destination with two children throwing up!
